23/03/11	A new page entitled ‘FR in action’ has been created and can be accessed from a button on the Up Country page. The ultimate aim is to concentrate a high percentage of photographs taken from FR.10 nose cameras onto this new page. To this end, the collection of Ken Simpson’s images have been moved across from the Up Country page and a new set of images contributed by former 8 Sqn pilot Mac McLauchlan has been incorporated. A few more images from Mac’s collection have been added to the 8 Sqn Gallery, pages 4 and 5.

21/02/10	Following a change in the rules at the National Archives some 4 years ago, the author was able to photograph the ORBs relating to the Khormaksar Hunter Squadrons and reproduce the web pages as you see on the website, from those photographic images (mostly be retyping). Except that is for the notes covering the early years of 8 Squadron which, being handwritten at Kew, were sparse and missing items. The author is, therefore, in process of re-writing the pages covering the years 1960-65 for 8 Squadron and the first two years for that period are ready for browsing.
